Landing Gear Housing Part Project

This project sparked my interest in mechanical engineering. I volunteered to work on a project in which I had to redesign a part that belonged on the landing gear of an airplane. I used precise caliper measurements, Autodesk Inventor, and iterative additive manufacturing processes to create a functional and successful product. I presented my project to the assistant principal and to the District Board of Education in a tour of the high school's STEM lab.
